September was a busy month for Griffin Fishing Charters & Lodge! Despite rainy, wet weather, we brought our fair share of Louisiana Redfish back to the dock with nearly daily limits. A consistent artificial bite resulted in nice sized redfish all month, plus black drum and sheep. Towards the tail end of the month, we also started to see a handful of speckled trout here and there. Several catch and release groups targeted bull reds in the deeper holes with blue crab and had great success.
If September was any indication, October is going to be wild! Our guides are on the water every day of the month and look forward to putting folks on the fish. There is a reason why fall is our favorite time of the year to be fishing in Louisiana! We do have a few openings left for November – give us a call to book your trip! (504) 689-7588
