Griffin Fishing Lodge Open with new COVID-19 Policies

| The Griffin Fishing Family is pleased to announce the safely re-opening our waterfront lodge operations! We, like a lot of you, have been cooped up inside and are eager to be back outdoors and on the water reeling in Louisiana Reds! In order to follow all COVID-19 recommendations and guidelines, we have made some changes to our operation to increase safety of our guests and staff: Primarily, for the safety of our staff and other guests, if you or anyone in your party is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, has been exposed, or has tested positive, we kindly ask that you reschedule your fishing trip to a later date. We are being very flexible for those that cannot make their trip, or choose not to travel during this time. We completely understand and are happy to assist you in moving your trip to another available date! For those still able to make it to the lodge, we welcome you! Please know we are implementing new cleaning and sanitizing strategies, and we are taking all precautions necessary to exceed CDC sanitation guidelines. In guest suites, we are encouraging social distancing at all times possible for large groups, and we are using industrial-grade Diversey misting disinfectant techniques in between each group of guests. All bed and bath laundry is done on high heat with an additional round of fogging sanitation done prior to guest arrival and after guest departure. In the cookhouse, we will only be serving plated meals (no buffet-style shared servings). We will be reducing the seating in the dining room to encourage social distancing, and we will be sanitizing the entire space after each meal time. The common bathrooms are stocked with hand soap, hand sanitizer, and wipes, and they will also be disinfected and sanitized multiple times a day. We encourage guests staying at the lodge with us to use the private bathrooms in their suites and limit use of public bathrooms when possible. Our guides will be thoroughly cleaning their boats between each group. Hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies will be available on the docks as well. Please help us out by minimizing congregating in common areas and being mindful of the recommended 6’ distance between each other. We encourage face coverings any time you are within 6 feet of one another, and we will be requiring face coverings in the common dining area until you are seated and ready to eat. Thank you to everyone for your support as we work through this crazy time. We appreciate your patience as implementing these extra precautions will add some time to our typical cleaning routines, but are necessary to ensure we keep everyone as safe as possible. SNEAK PEEK: We have ordered Griffin Fishing buffs that should be arriving in the coming weeks. These will be provided to all package customers at no charge as soon we receive them (the manufacturers are very busy, but we are trying to be understanding and patient!).
