Griffin Fishing – November 2020 Louisiana Fishing Report

Hurricane Season is over and 2020 is coming to a close!

As of 11/30/2020 Hurricane Season is over…Finally! What a year. We dodged a lot of bullets, but ended up with about 10″ of flood water in the cookhouse with Hurricane Zeta. We were able to clean and rebuild quickly thanks to our awesome crew. Luckily the rooms did not see any water at all. We appreciate everyone who was able to be flexible with their scheduled trips and work around the weather (on top of COVID travel restrictions) this year. We feel very blessed overall as far as storms go this year; we know not everyone was as fortunate. Thank you to everyone that checked on us this season!
This year has been tough on all of us, but we still managed to get on the water a good bit!

With wintertime fishing coming into play now, most trips will result in a mixed bag of redfish, drum, sheepshead, and trout. We will be mostly using dead bait until Springtime. Even though it can be cool on some winter mornings, most trips are still prosperous. We regularly have great trips in the months of December, January, and early February as we lean into the Spring.

If you are looking to get on the books for Spring or Summer 2021, please DO NOT WAIT. We have lots of trips already scheduled, and because of COVID cancellations from 2020, we have many reschedules filling in the calendar.
